Augie March are a indie pop rock band from Melbourne, Australia. They formed in


1996. After building a solid fanbase and critical acclaim with their first two


albums, 'Sunset Studies' (2000) and 'Strange Bird' (2002), success came in a big


way for Augie March with their third album 'Moo, You Bloody Choir' (2006) which


won the 2007 Australian Music Prize (AMP), was nominated for 7 ARIA awards and


achieved platinum sales. Singer and songwriter Glenn Richards then won two APRA


awards which were 'Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year' and 'Song of the Year'.


'Watch Me Disappear' is their fourth studio album. It was recorded at Neil Finn’s


Roundhead studios in New Zealand and was produced by Joe Chiccarelli (The White


Stripes, My Morning Jacket, The Shins).
