Scriptable Autorun Application by Perth PC Services





Simple application I wrote around two file that (c) Microsoft (r)windows XP uses;


	Autorun.inf


	Desktop.ini





These files are used by other (c) Microsoft OS





	Autorun.inf - This file contains the application label (Shell\Verb##) and the Command (Shell\Verb##\Command)


		e.g. Shell\Verb01=Install Nokia Drivers


		     Shell\Verb\Command=Nokia\Setup.exe





When you right-click on the CD/DVD in explorer, the context menu will include 'Install Nokia Drivers'


If the user Clicks on the menu item 'Install Nokia Drivers', the command line %CD%:\Nokia\Setup.exe will be sent to RunDLL32 and the Application launched.


Autorun.exe will include the Above in it's App Dialogue.





	Desktop.ini - This file contains a brief, one line description of contents. 


		This line shows up as comments in explorer.


		Autorun.exe will include the Above as it's Caption


		e.g. Infotip="Driver Disc"





The field 'Client' is used to specify a text file (*.dat) for more text if/when needed.


		e.g. Client=PerthPC


		reads in PerthPC.dat and displays
