Trama



Il telefilm, creato da Jorge A. Reyes, è incentrato su Kevin Hill (Taye Diggs), giovane e promettente avvocato di uno studio legale, che attira sempre l’attenzione sia nelle aule di tribunale che nei locali notturni di New York, dove lo accompagna l’amico Dame (Jon Seda). La vita di Kevin cambia per sempre quando, dopo la morte di un lontano cugino che lo ammirava molto, deve badare alla figlia di 10 mesi rimasta orfana, Sarah: dopo aver capito bene come badare a latte, pannolini, e alla nuova tata gay di Sarah, George (Patrick Breen), Kevin è costretto a lasciare il suo studio legale per un altro studio in cui l’impegno è più flessibile, il Grey & Associates, dove fino a quel momento lavoravano soltanto donne. Tra i nuovi colleghi, Kevin incontrerà la mamma single Jessie Grey (Michael Michele), la brava Nicolette Raye (Christina Hendricks), e Veronica Carter (Kate Levering), che troverà difficile lavorare con Kevin dato che in passato è stata per una notte con lui. Nel primo caso, Kevin dovrà affrontare gli ex-colleghi del suo ex-studio legale…
