En 1967, une équipe de télévision décide de suivre le shah d’Iran en visite officielle en Allemagne… et de filmer les \"à-côtés\" : contestations étudiantes, manifestations, répression policière… Un formidable instantané de l’époque.
Deux équipes de la SDR ont suivi pendant une semaine la visite d’État la plus marquante de 1967, celle du shah d’Iran et de sa femme. En privilégiant non pas le chef d’État et les cérémoniesofficielles, mais tout ce se passe autour. De Bonn à Munich, de Berlin à Hambourg, les images se ressemblent : concentrations massives de policiers le long des autoroutes, affrontements avec les manifestants, etc. La tension monte jusqu’au 2 juin 1967, lorsqu’un étudiant est tué par un policier…
