In einem weltabgeschiedenen Landhaus in der Uckermark lebt Anna (Angela Winkler) mit ihrem Mann Robert (Wiegand Witting) und Sohn Max (Amir Hadzic) verborgen in einem Waldstück. Im Verlauf des Sommers besuchen mehrere Generationen der verzweigten Familie das Anwesen. Annas Tochter Laura (Karoline Eichhorn) reist mit ihrem Freund Paul (Uwe Bohm) an, um im idyllischen Fleckchen die Ferien zu genieen.
