Etwa ein Jahr nach den Ereignissen von "Wächter der Nacht" bemüht sich Anton (Konstantin Khabensky)

nach wie vor, die Mächte der Dunkelheit in Schach zu halten. Ein alptraumhafter Job, seit sein

Sohn Yegor (Dmitry Martynov) aus Verachtung für ihn zur finsteren Seite übergelaufen ist und von

Dunkelfürst Zavulon (Victor Verzbitsky) protegiert wird. Zudem muss Anton noch die telekinetisch

begabte Svetlana (Mariya Poroshina) ausbilden. Als ein Nachtgeschöpf ermordet wird, hat Zavulon

einen Vorwand, um seine Armeen für die Machtübernahme zu mobilisieren.
