Die Menschheit hat alles verloren und nur knapp ein Fünftel der Menschheit hat überlebt. Pseudo-Menschen, "Third" genannt, tauchten kurz nach dem Krieg auf. Sie haben rote Augen, genannt "Weltraumaugen". Mit ihrer Hilfe können sie Computer und ähnliches kontrollieren und beherrschen die Welt mit ihren überlegenen Kräften. In dieser Welt gibt es ein Mädchen: Honoka. Sie schlägt sich mit so ziemlich allem durch für Geld, außer Mord. Eines Tages findet sie den jungen Iks in der Wüste. Als sie seinen Auftrag annimmt, beginnt ihr großes Abenteuer.
