Sea Angling – Inshore Boat Fishing (DVD Rip 2006 – ETF Release)



Dave Lewis, of Sea Angling publications, is a contributing editor and presenter Liam Dale take to the sea off the coast of South Wales. It is split into two parts basically, the initial part of the programme concentrates on the ideal inshore boat, in this instance an "Orkney Strikeliner" and how it should be fitted out with the essential kit, trailed and launched safely. The advice is sound and well founded, covering safety gear as well as necessities for the boat such as anchor, warps, engine spares and so on. Of course the fishing essentials are covered as well, discussing the relative qualities of uptide and downtide rods, and various gear, and reels. Tackle type and baits. 



The second part of the programme sees the boat along with the two occupants fishing not far from the shore hopefully for bass, but in the main the day is dominated by what I would call Dogs, well, Fine smooth hounds, and spotted hounds in fact. Although a codling shows face as well at one point, and a pout or two. 



They fish uptiding, anchored, in quite a strong current it has to be said, I would have preferred a little further out, with a sea anchor, drogue, as there was a slight chop on the go, although it was nothing to worry about, and the two here are real experienced, so know what they are talking about. The lads had to remember to keep up the chat whilst tending their rods, and balancing in the boat, which they do admirably, the narrative is continuous and contains a lot of good tips and advice from both anglers, they seem to be two biggish blokes, even with Liam trimming the boat aft, when underway she is listing a good few degrees to port, (less pies Liam!:-) ) and there ain't a lot of room in the back of that "Orkney" it is true. Still, they manage well once the fishing starts. All in all, it’s a very informative and well-shot piece of film. Certainly worth a look, as well as the other fishing titles of the same series, they whet the proverbial appetite that's for sure.

I’ve searched many of the torrent sites looking for sea angling downloads and there’s been next to nothing available. So, I’ve taken the time and made the effort to offer this to you, so please return the favour by seeding it to a ratio of at least 1:1. Please don’t be a member of the ‘hit and run brigade’ that we all see regularly. I don’t have the time or bandwidth to seed this constantly and all the other torrents (angling, football and movies) I aim to upload, so if there’s little seeding activity, I’ll simply let them die. Sorry, but I don’t want to be left to seed everything on my own. I don’t see why I should, Oh…and a thank you would be nice! Most importantly…sit back, crack open a beer and enjoy it. Tight lines to you all!



Covers

By request, I’ve now added the video covers I have. If you really do want a fishing cover for your DVD case, then they will do. They’re not perfect of course, but with a bit of alteration of the size, either in print (obviously better), or cutting them to suit, they’re better than nothing. As these are all from original, some difficult to get hold of videos that haven't gone to DVD as yet, this is probably the best you'll get most of them at the moment. 



A couple of the covers have some marks on them, but again, better than nothing. The double video cover of Sea Match Angling is too large for my scanner, so you have the front cover and spine and the back cover and spine. The No2 - Fishing for Ray and Tope (DVD) cover’s been added (from Amazon), even though it’s just the front cover. The video one’s there too with back and front covers, so it’s your choice.



I aim to upload most, if not all of the listed items in the folders. It’s all down to time, bandwidth, seeding activity and checking that the disc is okay after conversion, before I offer it for download. Please be patient. Enjoy!
