As promised, here are all the works by Dashiell Hammett that I have been able to find. This includes all of his main novels, as well as a couple of books of his short stories. As always, the main format is Sony Reader, with a zip file of the same books in HTML for the convenience of others to convert as per their needs. 



Dashiell Hammett is generally recognized as the first of the three greats in the "triumvirate" of pioneering American noir crime fiction, the other two being Raymond Chandler and Ross MacDonald. These gritty stories may seem somewhat dated now, but back when they were written, they sparked a whole new direction in the genre, and all other writers in the field since have owed a debt to Hammett, the grandfather of noir.
