NOTES:
The final transmitted Doctor Who story, "Survival" featured the return
of the Master (Anthony Ainley), last seen at the end of the Trial
season (season 23), a visit to Ace's home town, Perivale, and a
monologue taped by Sylvester McCoy at the end as it was clear the show
would not be back for the following year. The show was filmed
primarily on location, with sequences in both Perivale and on the
Cheetah planet (filmed nearby), as well as sequences involving
horseback riding and motorcycling. Television comedians Hale and Pace
appeared in this story as shopkeepers Harvey and Len (though they
switched roles with each other at the last minute). Stunt legend Eddie
Kidd doubled for William Barton in a motor cycle crash scene in Part
Three, leading to series regular stunt arranger Tip Tipping walking
off the production, as Kidd was apparently not a member of the actors'
union Equity. The working titles for the story included "Cat Flap,"
"Blood Hunt" and at one point, "The Survival". The opening shot of
Gabriel Chase in "Ghost Light" was filmed during the production of
"Survival". Actress Lisa Bowerman, who played Karra, would later take
up the role of Bernice Summerfield (Virgin New Adventures' seventh
Doctor companion) in Big Finish's audios and ultimately in their
Doctor Who productions. A dropped sequence at the end would have had
the Master referred to the Doctor as something "other" than a Time
Lord.

This is episode is 159; the torrent fils are wrongly labelled as 158, which is of course, TCOF...
