Den sjätte och sista disken i boxen innehåller en tvåtimmars dokumentärfilm om hela
serien, Behind the Planet of the Apes, något som är mycket uppskattat för den riktigt
inbitne Ap-fanatikern. Skådespelaren Roddy McDowell som spelade i de flesta av filmerna
hostar dokumentären som täcker in alla aspekter av produktionen av filmerna. Skaparna,
effekterna, storyn, manuset, ja allt tas upp här. Hela dokumentären är otroligt
intressant, nästan lika intressant som själva filmerna, och är ett måste för den som vill
lära sig allt om Apornas planet. Dokumentären innehåller massa information i form av
bortglömda dokumentärklipp, bakom kulisserna, intervjuer med skådespelare och regissörer.
