Toranja é um grupo musical português formado por Tiago Bettencourt (Voz, guitarras e piano), Ricardo Frutuoso (guitarras), "Dodi" (baixo) e "Rato" (bateria).
O primeiro disco da banda - "Esquissos" - foi lançado em Portugal no ano de 2003 e alcançou grande sucesso com músicas como "Carta" e "Fogo e Noite". O segundo disco - cujo nome é "Segundo" - foi lançado em Portugal, no ano de 2005, e no Brasil, no ano de 2006.
"Esquissos" teve como primeiro single a canção "Cenário", mas o seu principal sucesso foi a música "Carta". O álbum teve um terceiro single, a música "Fogo e Noite".
Em Dezembro de 2006, os Toranja pararam de trabalhar por tempo indeterminado mas prometeram voltar.

Toranja is a Portuguese rock band with a flair for lyrics with a rebellious tone. Their first album "Esquissos" was greeted with some acclaim in Portugal.
"Segundo" is the title of their second - and ironically named ("Segundo" means "second" in Portuguese) - album which established Toranja as one of the relevant names of the new generation of Portuguese bands.
The band paused their activities in 2006, for undetermined time.However, it's musicians are still in the music scene, each one with its own project.
