The More than Complete DC in Omegapsical Order
Omegapsical order: A term I thought I might have invented meaning reverse alphabetical order. Turns out it has seen occasional use by others but I get the most hits for it on Google! For the classics challenged alpha & beta are the first two letters of the ancient greek alphabet =>Alphabetical. Taking the last two, going backwards => omega psi => omegapsical. I just like to be different.
This Thirtieth installment is: Gd-Fl
Remembering this is just DC, not DC plus all DC imprints like the DC chronology project, this is all that's scanned of DC titles in this range according to the Phantom Stranger's DC scanned list of Novemr 1. So we are complete, and we are more than complete because we have an some "pre-dc" stories as usual. The MLJ-Archie-Red Circle heroes previously re-imagined under the !mpact titles are now (at elast some of them) in the DC mainstream So all the MLJ and !mpact heroe titles come ind as "Pre-DC" stories of DC heroes, even those for hereos who haven't actually been revived, because it seems likley to me they will make an appearance eventually. So we have stories of the !mpact and Arche Fly/Fly-Man today. I could have tossed in Pre-DC versions of other characters who appear here (e.g. Flinstones& Jetsons, Flash Gordon) but did not because the main emphasis of including "pre-DC" stories has always been for characters who became part of the DC mainstream and this torrent was over large as it was since I was loath to break apart the "Flash" titles. I'm glad to inlcude the Non-DC versions of these sideline chracters and titles when I can, but have to put them at a lower priority. The Flash Gordon stuff I will probably put in the next one as I like science fictions characters. Doing a project like this means I get to excercise my whims. Whose gonna complain after all ?:-). Not that I'd llisten if they did :-). It's my football, so I make the rules :-)
Been busy sorting so I have 2 more torrents ready to go in quick succession including the first major appearane of Batman in this series - Detective Comics, which is so huge it's one of only a few titles to appear all by itself in a torrent in this series. Vast amounts of Bat titles to come soon as the B's are getting close!
