Modern Warfare 2 est un FPS sur PC. Le jeu se déroule quelques années après Call of Duty : Modern Warfare et nous mettra aux prises avec des terroristes russes. On retrouve un des héros du précédent volet, le sergent MacTavish, qui vient d'être fraîchement promu capitaine au sein du SAS.
