'Barbie Kerstverhaal' is een hartverwarmende bewerking van het klassieke verhaal van Charles Dickens (A Christmas Carol), tot de nok toe gevuld met geliefde kerstmelodieën, prachtige kostuums en heel veel humor! In het verhaal speelt Barbie de rol van Eden Starling, de glamoureuze zangeres van een theater in het Victoriaanse Londen. Samen met haar verwaande kat, Chuzzlewit, heeft de egoïstische Eden besloten dat alle artiesten van het toneelgezelschap op Kerstdag zelf moeten repeteren! Zelfs Catherine, haar jeugdvriendin en kostuumontwerpster, kan Eden niet van haar zelfzuchtige plannetje doen afzien. Maar dan voeren drie erg ongewone kerstmisgeesten Eden mee op een fantastische kerstreis die haar hart openzet voor het echte kerstgevoel en de vreugde van het geven.
