Al suo quarto film negli Stati Uniti, René Clair, costruisce una brillante
commedia sui paradossi temporali, ricca di note ironiche e surreali.
Il complesso meccanismo della sceneggiatura resta ancora oggi un
grande esempio, e il film continua ad affermarsi come parabola
della necessità di guardare al mondo con occhi innocenti
per comprendere pienamente il vero senso della vita.
