Julia y Samuel se mudan con los niños a una apartada urbanización en las afueras de la ciudad. Parece un lugar ideal, pero pronto descubrirán que la idílica urbanización encierra algo más.
Desde el primer día Julia tiene la sensación de que algo extraño está sucediendo a su alrededor. Sus temores se multiplican cuando descubre que la urbanización se encuentra completamente desierta, en ella no vive nadie más.
