                                  TRAMA





Caraibi, diciassettesimo secolo. Quando il capitano Barbossa, al comando del temuto vascello pirata 'Perla Nera', attacca la città di Port Royal e rapisce la affascinante figlia del governatore, Elizabeth, il fabbro Will Tuner è costretto ad allearsi con il pirata Jack Sparrow per rubare la più veloce nave della flotta - l'H.M.S. Interceptor - e riportare a casa la sua amata.


La faccenda si complica quando viene alla luce la maledizione che aleggia sulla nave pirata: tutta la ciurma è in uno stato di morte-non morte e viene trasformata dalla luna, ogni notte, in una massa di scheletri viventi, incapaci di provare alcuna sensazione. Il sortilegio sarà spezzato solo quando un tesoro malvagiamente depredato verrà restituito fino all'ultimo medaglione, unitamente al sacrificio di sangue del figlio dello scomparso pirata Sputafuoco.
