LINEAGE: Silvers > SAMSUNG CD-ROM SC-148A > EAC v. 0.99 Prebeta 4 (Secure Mode, Calibrated Offset 0, 0) > Resulting files compared to rips from another CD drive* > FLAC (Level 8, verify, align on sector boundaries) > You !!!

* Since ripping from a CD is probably the part of this process most likely to introduce an error, I like to double check the rip.  With Exact Audio Copy, I ripped my silvers using two drives that can play CDs (SAMSUNG CD-ROM SC-148A B400 and TSSTcorpCD/DVDW TS-H552B TS08).  Both drives produced error-free, identical rip.  Binary File Compare Version 1.02 was used to prove that the rips were identical.

My comments:  I have wanted to upload this for a long time.  It was not easy.  The artwork is quite extensive, and includes a 24 page booklet.  In addition, some of the unreleased tracks that made this collection so appealing have been released over the years.

And finally, some of the tracks are either lossy or so heavily processed that they appear to be lossy.  I suspect the latter in the majority of cases, which came from  the "461 Ocean Boulevard" sessions in Miami during April and May 1974.  It is interesting to compare these recordings to the commercially released material.  It sounds almost like a different mix or even a different recording.  Track 10 of CD 4 is clearly lossy with a frequency dropoff just above 16 KHz.

Interesting tracks include "I Got My Mojo Working," a very early recording of an impressive lineup of musicians.  The recording is amazing considering that the year was 1964.  "Falstaff Beer Commercial," "Change if Address" and "Phone Booth" are fun oddities.  Comparison of "Key to the Highway" from CD 2 reveals that the commercially available version on the Rainbow Concert CD has been edited.  It is fun to hear the often mentioned "Lady of Verona."

No tweaking of any kind has been done.  Even if you have a copy of this title, this may be a nice upgrade for you, direct from my silvers with known lineage.

Artwork was scanned by me - all 45 megabytes of it!

The scan of my CD assures you that I am indeed sharing a silver.  EAC logs and checksums are included.  Also included are screenshots of frequency analysis and spectogram analysis of the possibly lossy tracks.
