Drama. Intriga. Ejército / SINOPSIS: El coronel Terry Childer (Jackson) es un veterano marine: un oficial condecorado con experiencia de combate en el Vietnam y Beirut. Pero, ahora, el país al que tan bién ha servido lo ha procesado por una misión de combate que no terminó bien. Como abogado ha elegido al marine Coronel Hays Hodges (Jones), un camarada de armas que le debe la vida. (FILMAFFINITY)

En una misión en Oriente Medio, en plena revuelta popular contra la embajada de su país, un coronel americano manda a sus tropas abrir fuego contra la multitud. A la vuelta a EEUU es acusado de asesinato por el propio ejército norteamericano. El veterano Friedkin dirige con solvencia un entretenido drama escrito por el guionista de "Traffic", con la inclusión del terrorismo integrista de la Yihad islámica (es del año 2000, pero curiosamente tras el 11S su visión parece mucho más verosímil). Una intriga judicial-militar alrededor de un dilema muy judicial-militar: patria o culpa (véase -la muy superior- "Algunos hombres buenos", a la que copia su escena más emblemática).
