TRAMA



Un alieno giunge sulla Terra, portando con sé un messaggio di pace e intimando la distruzione di tutte le armi, ma l'accoglienza non è quella che ci si può aspettare e le cose rischiano di mettersi molto, molto male.



Remake del classico film omonimo del 1951 di Robert Wise. Ultimatum alla Terra secondo Derrickson non aggiunge niente alla sceneggiatura originale di Edmund North anche se David Scarpa ha riscritto il tutto. Di Klaatu, messianico ambasciatore galattico, si accentua il tratto cristologico in linea con certo spiritualismo new age, mentre Gort, identico nel look ma dotato di un sensore video stile Cylon, subisce l’inevitabile lifting digitale.
