La vicenda è concentrata su un gruppo di svitati (un ladro fallito, due fratelli che imitano Stanlio e Ollio, un mammone, il sergente di ferro, il fascista, il generale omosessuale e altri) che, non sapendo che fare, si arruolano in un improbabile esercito italo-germanico contro un nemico non identificato. I nostri "eroi" ne combinano di tutti i colori in questa guerra assurda.



Secondo tentativo di riproporre "in carne ed ossa" le gag, il fatalismo e lo humour nero delle celeberrime strisce di Bonvi. I diari di scuola erano tutta un'altra cosa.
