to help reduce the high load on the database i have changed the system to cache the torrent description page for 60 seconds



this means if you edit your torrent description the changes can take anywhere from 1 to 60 seconds to display. the average is 30 seconds before your new edit will display



this is the latest code change i have made to bring the database into RAM to keep the site fast and responsive. the main search query was put into RAM last weekend and has worked well



i already see one small problem with the latest code change. there is a slight time offset in the servers which means a change will display/will not display/ will display again. the edit has indeed happened and the problem is the servers are not all reporting the edit in the the same timeframe. please be patient while i reconfigure the backend to eliminate the issue. meanwhile, all you have to do is relax, the edit has taken and after 60 seconds it will deisplay without inturruption
