SINOPSIS:
Ambientada en Egipto, durante los primeros años de vida del cristianismo, se trata de un drama histórico que se centra en Orestes (Isaac), un esclavo que se aferra a la nueva doctrina religiosa con la esperanza de hallar en ella las aspiraciones de libertad que tanto ansía y que está enamorado de su maestra y ama Hypatia, una atea profesora de filosofía que será intepretada por Weisz.
