I came across this CD a couple of nights ago through some tracks uploaded to YouTube.  I ordered it at once, and I cannot praise this CD highly enough!  A contemporary take (but with a firm eye on maintaining some authenticity) on c16 music to accompany ballads of the period.  Frederiksen's voice is treacle (an outstanding bass), and the harmonies and arrangements of the accompaniment are often stunning.
