SINOPSIS





A finales del S.IXX, El Albergue Rojo es una posada que espera pacientemente la llegada de nuevos clientes. Desde hace varios años, los dueños, Martin (Christian Clavier) y Rose (Josiane Balasko), ayudados por su torpe hijo adoptado, tienen por costumbre matar a los huéspedes que viajan solos para robarles sus pertenencias. Una noche, un numeroso grupo de paso se aloja en la posada, entre ellos está el padre Carnus (Gérard Jugnot). Rose decide arreglar cuentas con Dios y pedir perdón por sus pecados, de modo que confiesa al padre Carnus sus siniestras costumbres, además, también le cuenta que planean acabar con la vida de todos huéspedes recién llegados. El padre Carnus deberá ingeniárselas para alertar a sus compañeros sin violar el voto de secreto de confesión.
