Britney Spears Someday(I Will Understand)
"Someday" was written by Spears herself two weeks after she learned of her pregnancy with her first child, Sean Preston. That was the second time that she plays an instrument in recording a song, but so far the first time she was credited; she plays the piano on this record. She composed the melody on piano for "Everytime" but was not officially credited for than one. The track was produced by Guy Sigsworth, who also produced the song "Everytime", similar in instrumentation.
The standard version of "Someday" has only been included on the EP, Chaotic, to date. It couldn't be included on her first greatest hits compilation, due that it was not released to that moment. The Hi-Bias Signature Radio Mix was included on Spears' first remix album, B in the Mix: The Remixes. It was also included as a bonus track on the Japanese, European and Australian pressings of the Chaotic EP
