Hildegard Knef (Heike Makatsch) wurde zum ersten deutschen Star der Nachkriegszeit. Diese sehr wechselvolle Karriere führte die Schauspielerin und Sängerin aus den Ruinen Berlins nach Amerika. Sie führte drei Ehen und polarisierte ihr Publikum wie keine andere deutsche Ikone.
