Starkomiker George Simmons befindet sich gerade auf dem Höhepunkt seiner Karriere, als er von seiner unheilbaren Bluterkrankung erfährt. Sein Arzt eröffnet ihm, dass er nur noch ein Jahr zu leben hat. Simmons muss gerade in seiner schwierigen Situation feststellen, dass er keine richtigen Freunde hat und die einzige Frau, die er wirklich liebte, betrog.
