Koningin Hijau van Pattani wordt onder de voet gelopen door Prins Pahung, die de bondgenoot van kapitein Black Raven is. De piraten proberen een groot kanon te bemachtigen dat ontworpen is door de Nederlander Janis Bree en de Chinese uitvinder Lim Kium. Maar het Nederlandse schip met de kanonnen zinkt op zee. Ondertussen wordt de jongen Pari geboren in een vissersdorpje. Zijn vader is vermoord door Black Raven. De jongen werd opgenomen door zijn oom Anjar en gaat in de leer bij White Ray, die hem de magische kunst van het oceaanleven bijbrengt. Black Raven, die ook onderlegd is in de magische kunsten van de oceaan van Du Lum, probeert de kanonnen van de oceaanbodem te halen. Koningen Hijau wil haar eigen grote kanon en is daarom op zoek naar uitvinder Lim Kium. Ze stuurt haar dochters Ungu en Biru op pad. Zij reizen in bescherming van krijgskunstenaar Prins Jarang. Dit alles mondt uiteindelijk uit in een gevecht tussen al deze personen om het grote kanon.

Queen Hijau of Pattani faces overthrow by the rebel Prince Rawai, who is allied with pirate captain Black Raven. The pirates attempt to capture some giant cannon invented by Dutchman Janis Bree and Chinese inventor Lim Kium, but the Dutch ship carrying the cannon blows up and the cannons sink into the sea.
