Amerika in den späten 50er Jahren. Drei Freunde und Geschäftspartner (Paul Walker, Jason Biggs und Bruce Greenwood) planen eine Expedition zum Südpol. Dabei geht trotz bester Vorbereitungen schief, was schief gehen kann.
