In Zeiten, als man noch mit dem Pferd nach Paris gelangte, träumt Barbie als Corinne davon, ein Musketier zu werden. Doch abgesehen von ihrer Mutter und ihren tierischen Freunden will keiner so recht an sie und ihr Vorhaben glauben. Doch da bekommt sie durch Glück am Hof eine Anstellung als Hausmädchen und findet bald heraus, dass ihre drei Kolleginnen den gleichen Traum verfolgen. Da der böse Philippe ein Komplott gegen den Prinzen plant, bietet sich dem Quartett auch bald die Möglichkeit, ihr Können zu beweisen.
