Burn the two file to a boot-able image disk.


Set the BIOS to boot from CD (optical drive, or D).


Restart the computer and in no time your hard drive will be wiped clean (like new, i.e., empty).


Remove the disk.


Insert the operating system disk and load it into the computer.


Works like a charm. I have used it many times. Experts recommend reformatting the hard drive and reinstalling software every 3 to 6 months. Its a pain, but the computer will work like new again. Just be sure you have your files backed up and all of the driver software ready.
