The Baker Brothers are back in town & have just released their 6th album entitled ‘AVID SOUND’ in Japan and are preparing for a UK onslaught this summer, releasing on UK funk/soul label Freestyle in June. Avid Sounds is a covers album that pays tribute to many of the bands/tunes that have fulled their funk passion from way back. The album includes b-boy classics to disco rockers and is sure to blow the roof off any sweaty funk den.
All Baker Brothers releases so far have been like hell to find. I managed to grad the second and third albums In With the Out-Crowd and Bakers Dozen , but never saw the latest one Transition Transmission.
