14 Jahre saß Eric (Andrew Garfield) wegen Mordes an einem kleinen Mädchen in Haft. Der Presse ist er nur als "Boy A" bekannt. Als er auf Bewährung frei kommt, will der 24-jährige ohne Medienrummel unter falschem Namen einen Neuanfang wagen.
