Horst Winter als Solist
Als mit Beginn der 60er Jahre die Nachfrage nach Tanzmusik in dem von Horst Winter gespielten Stil nachzulassen begann, verlegte er sich mehr und mehr auf seine Auftritte als Solist. Mit dem Lied „Vogerl aus Wien“ errang Horst Winter 1961 f?r ?sterreich den ersten Platz beim internationalen Chansonfestival von Monte Carlo. Er sang Operette bei den Festspielen in Bad Ischl, wirkte bei zahlreichen Fernsehshows im In-und Ausland mit, bereiste mit Tourneen ?sterreich und Deutschland und sprang 1973 sogar f?r Frank Sinatra bei einem Wohlt?tigkeitskonzert in Palm Springs ein. Auch die Plattenaufnahmen des nunmehrigen „Mr. Evergreen“ fanden ihre Fortsetzung. Bis ins hohe Alter blieb Horst Winter aktiv und mit viel Freude im Dienste seiner Musik.
Am 3. 12. 2001 verstarb Horst Winter 87-j?hrig in Wien.
