Wallace’i ja Gromiti kolmandas loos on lahutamatu paar avanud akende pesemise firma. Wallace jätkab endiselt leiutamist ning saab valmis lammaste pesemise ja pügamise masina, millest on palju kasu, kui nende juurde satub üks kodust kaugele sattunud lammas. Varsti saavad nad teada, et loomake on põgenenud jõhkrate lambakasvatajate juurest, kes tahavad nüüd lammast tagasi saada. Tuleb välja, et lammastest tahetakse teha lihapirukaid ning selle taga on lõngapoe omaniku Wendolene’i koer Preston. Viimasel õnnestub Gromit kuritöö süüdlaseks lavastada ning Gromit pannakse vangi. Nüüd peab Wallace kokku võtma kogu oma kavaluse, et päästa Gromit vanglast ning lambad lihapirukaks saamise eest. Nick Park võitis suurepärase huumori ja põneva süžeega animafilmi eest oma kolmanda Oscari.
