 - Trama - 

 -  Private Practice è una serie televisiva statunitense di genere medico. Nasce come spin-off della serie tv Grey's Anatomy, che ha ospitato il backdoor pilot consistente nel doppio episodio L'altro lato della vita parte 1 e 2. Ha come protagonista la dottoressa Addison Forbes Montgomery ed è ambientato a Los Angeles al Oceanside - Wellness Group. La serie racconta le storie della vita della dottoressa Addison Montgomery e quelle dei suoi colleghi medici.



 - In America, la prima stagione (che è formata da 9 episodi) è stata trasmessa dal 26 settembre 2007 al 5 dicembre 2007, ogni mercoledì alle 21.00 sulla rete statunitense ABC. La ABC ha deciso di concludere la serie con soli 9 episodi, in seguito al successo ottenuto sono state prodotte altre due serie, gli episodi della terza stagione andranno in onda il prossimo autunno sempre su ABC.



 - In Italia, Private Practice è stato trasmesso per la prima volta dal canale satellitare Fox life. La prima stagione è andata in onda dal 10 dicembre 2007 al 11 febbraio 2008.
