Terwijl hij op vakantie is in Thailand, worden de paspoort en geld van de grote Australi?r Barney gestolen. Hij zit nu in een land, waar hij de taal niet van spreekt. Terwijl hij zich moet verdedigen tegen gangsters, wordt hij door twee jonge meisjes meegenomen. Ze maken voor hem een erg pittige Somtum salade, waarna hij in een rood monster verandert. Barney belooft om alle schade die hij, na zijn verandering, heeft veroorzaakt te betalen. Uiteindelijk realiseren de meiden dat zijn vreemde reactie op hun salade, wel eens de oplossing kan zijn voor hun problemen.





A meek foreigner stuck in Thailand after being mugged and having his passport stolen, develops super powers after eating somtum, a traditional Thai salad.
