Personally, I have only been a Bettie Page fan since January 2009. I discovered this charming Pin-Up Queen from the 1950's totally by accident and couldn't believe that I had never heard of her before. Incidentally, Bettie died in California on December 11 / 2008 at the age of 85 one month before I discovered her photos on the internet and became another instant life long fan. Be that as it may, I began to download all the information that I could regarding Bettie. She really had a very interesting life by the way. Over a period of a few months, in my spare time, I began to compile what I thought was the very best of Bettie's photos in color and in black and white and spent many a night restoring photos as a lot of them had their own, lets say unique problems. After accumulating 132 photos of different sizes, the problem became, how was I going to display each different sized photo that would do justice to Bettie. Eventually I came up with a universal photo size that I could use in conjunction with a simple but elegant surrounding back drop that I created. By luck, I also happened to come across a nice color drawing of Bettie that I then animated as the "intro" to the screen saver. Next, I accompanied the entire finished photo collection with an "optional" but time-honored music theme that really seems to fit great. The final result is a beautiful screen saver that changes screen every 10 seconds. The torrent also includes a bonus 1024 by 768 desktop wallpaper that I restored from a color photo, both are included by the way. Last but not least, this torrent includes Bettie's biography. All told, it should be very satisfying to any and hopefully all fans. Folks, this is a "Free" long playing tribute screen saver that honors the life of Miss Bettie Mae Page : The Queen of Pin-Up's .
