Noctilucent Clouds is the still forming mix of a variety of influences started in 2007 by Rupert Hobday, and continues to be an ongoing experiment with sounds, drones, loops, field recordings, treated and sampled guitars and basses.
The current tracks on the collection ‘Calls Across the Void’ were recorded over the last while, the most recent and perhaps representative of the NC philosophy, ‘Rushes’ attempts to describe the sound equivalent of time lapse weather films rushing across an open landscape. This was recorded August 2009.
