'Chain Reaction' is a song originally released in 1985 by Diana Ross and written by the Bee Gees. In 2001, British pop group Steps covered 'Chain Reaction' and the song reached No.2 in the UK. The song was also performed by the Top 4 Finalists on American Idol [season 6].





In the first scene of the Steps music video, two paramedics are seen lifting a patient on a stretcher out of the back of an ambulance and taking him inside the hospital. Claire starts the song and then Faye continues. The band members are then shown together and it is revealed that H is the patient who gets up and starts singing, after which Lisa sings her part. Finally, the whole group sings together featuring two men playing the drums.
