TRAMA



La moglie dI Thorn, Kathryn, ha superato un parto difficile e non sa ancora che il bambino 

è morto. Anche se è distrutto da questa perdita, la preoccupazione principale di Thorn è per 

Kathryn, che ha già sofferto due aborti spontanei. Il prete dell’ospedale mostra a Thorn un altro

 bambino nato quella notte e che ha perso la madre, morta durante il parto. Il prete convince 

Thorn a riconoscere il bambino come loro: Kathryn non conoscerà mai la verità e il figlio, che 

chiameranno Damien, verrà cresciuto come frutto del loro sangue e della loro carne. Ma alcuni 

fatti, tutti collegabili a Damien, che in quel momento ha solo cinque anni, sono decisamente 

inquietanti. Damien non è un bambino come gli altri, ma l’Anticristo che è stato a lungo profetizzato.
