De film draait om Igor, de gebochelde lab-assistent van een doldwaze wetenschapper. Hij creëert daartoe "Eva", die bedoeld is om als 'monster' het daglicht te zien. Echter de zaken lopen niet zoals ze vooraf ingeschat zijn.
