There have been times during this series when your heart has gone out to the unlucky, sweating candidate whose prototype invention has just failed to work, much to the amusement and/or impatience of the Dragons. But despite the odd disasters there have been enough new ideas that have caught the Dragons' imagination sufficiently to make them stump up record amounts of cash. So, as the seventh series comes to an end, another set of hopefuls trudge up the stairs to the Dragons' lair with ideas for remote-controlled micro-helicopters, dental gizmos and a mobile food concession. But does the world need a computer mouse that looks like a classic car?
