SINOPSIS:


Eliza Welch (Thurman) es madre. Antes era escritora de ficción pero ahora se dedica a la blogosfera y tiene su propia web, "The Bjorn Identity". Eliza ha dejado de lado sus ambiciones creativas para centrarse en sus dos hijos y divide su vida laboral y personal entre dos apartamentos de renta fija en un bloque de vecinos sin ascensor situado en la exclusiva zona de Greenwich Village. Su marido (Edwards) es tan despistado que parece no darse cuenta de los conflictos a los que se enfrenta su mujer y, por bienintencionado que sea, no se para ni a pensar en lo que conlleva gestionar la realidad doméstica básica, algo que sí entiende su mejor amiga Sheila (Minnie Driver), casi demasiado bien.
