Now that the description is out of the way (it was a copy/paste from mangaupdates). I never saw the anime and i was told by a few friends to see it, i still didnt see it but i did went straight to the source i.e the manga. This manga at the start seems to be drawn by an amateur but as the number of volumes goes up so does the art style... though it still isnt at the level of some of the more beautiful manga out there (Homunculus, Berserk and Shin Angyo Onshi come to mind). However the story is shonen and only shonen there are not many mature themes on discussion here and that is imho a good thing for a manga which does not take itself too seriously.
