The Minnehaha Free State/Highway 55 Camp was the longest running urban land occupation in US history. From August 10, 1998, to mid December 1999, Earth First!ers, AIM, and community members occupied two sites along the Mississippi River in South Minneapolis, to defend a park and a sacred site from a highway reroute. 89mins (Sorry about the failed first attempt)
