Gli Earth, Wind & Fire (nome a volte abbreviato nell'acronimo EWF) sono un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi a Chicago nel 1969, che spazia attraverso diversi generi musicali, quali R&B, Funk, Soul e Disco. Il loro leader e fondatore è Maurice White. 

Il nome deriva dal fatto che il segno zodiacale di White, il Sagittario, è un segno di fuoco, ma è influenzato anche dagli elementi della terra e dell'aria: da qui il motivo per cui nel nome non compare l'elemento "acqua".
