Angel Jäger der Finsternis (Originaltitel: Angel) ist ein Ableger der
populären Fernsehserie Buffy Im Bann der Dämonen. Nach dem Ende der dritten
Staffel von Buffy bekam der beseelte Vampir Angel, der eine Hauptrolle in den
ersten drei Staffeln von Buffy hatte, seine eigene Serie. In den USA lief Angel
vom 5. Oktober 1999 bis 19. Mai 2004 auf The WB, ProSieben strahlte die Serie ab
Januar 2001 in Deutschland aus. Seit dem 7. Mai 2007 ist die Serie für 66 Folgen
(Season 3 bis Season 5) wöchentlich bei Kabel eins im Spätprogramm am Montag auf
